Description

SepFast Ultra 35Q is a strong anion exchange chromatography resin with good pressure and temperature tolerance. It is specially designed for high resolution purification of biological molecules where large-scale biomanufacturing at increased column pressure (up to 20 bar) and/or increased purification temperature become desirable.

The base matrix is made of highly cross-linked 35 micro agarose beads with balanced pressure / flow property. It can cope with viscous feed loading at up to 20 bar column pressure. It is very stable to most of the chemical conditions experienced in the bioprocessing industry. The resin is stable in 1M NaOH at 60oC for improved clean-in-place operations.

Pre-packed columns for screening and process development use are available at following sizes: 1 ml, 5 ml, 9.5 ml (11x100mm ID x BH), 19 ml (11x200mm ID x BH). All these columns have connections fully compatible to Akta systems. Column hardware has 6 bar (0.6 MPa) pressure rating (1ml and 5ml) or 20 bar (2MPa) pressure rating (9.5ml and 19ml). See Column Instruction for details of HiSep and Optio column hardware.

SepFast Ultra 35Q is developed and supported for production scale chromatography use. Regulatory Support File (RSF) is available to assist process validation and submissions to regulatory authorities.
